UDEMY/FLIPSTER/TUMBLE — Away we go!

Many islanders have spent much of the last couple of months in self-isolation. Days seemed to blend into the next among figuring out Zoom meetings, hanging out all day in pajamas among personalizing work computers to work from home or juggling co-teaching their young scholars from home with virtual learning. Many of us, feeling a little stir-crazy have tried to utilize our time by getting projects or crafts done, going running, baking and/or binge-watching endless Netflix videos… of course, these are somewhat contrary responses. Do I feel better after baking bread made from a yeast I have been tending for days or the malaise perhaps felt after coming to the end of the seemingly endless episodes of “Tiger King” or other binge-worthy flicks? Sometimes, it feels definitely best to mix things up, especially now, when time is on our side and the Ocean State Library System is now offering Rhode Islanders the great opportunity for further education, learning and enrichment.
