Children in the Block Island School in grades Kindergarten through three made some new friends on Monday, March 22 when Block Island’s new (interim) Police Chief Matthew Moynihan and members of the police department gave out Stuffed Animals of Hope. The furry toys were provided by Memere’s Mission, PetSmart, R.E. Coogan Heating Inc., and Little Rhody Rescue and Quarantine Inc. Photo courtesy of School Superintendent Mike Convery.
