Dr. Mark Clark has been honored by the Rhode Island Senate for his years of dedicated service as Medical Director of the Block Island Medical Center.

Sen. Susan Sosnowski said the Senate resolution recognizing Dr. Clark was drafted and introduced by her on June 5, 2019. The resolution passed in the Senate the following day.

“I introduced the legislation after I read about Dr. Clark’s plan to resign in The Block Island Times,” said Sosnowski. “He has done such a great job.”

Sosnowski added: “We had already passed the resolution in the Senate when I read that he had decided to stay on at the Medical Center.”
