The Town of New Shoreham Planning Board will be in session for a meeting on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at the Town Hall, Old Town Road, Block Island, RI.
AGENDA
    •    Discussion with Department Heads regarding the New Shoreham Capital Budget Requests.
    •    Corn Neck Road Planning Study – Presentation and Discussion of Draft Plan
    •    Island Enterprises, Inc. Recommendation to the Town Council on a request to amend the Zoning Ordinance Section 407 in the RC/M zone.
    •    First Baptist Church. Plat 7, Lot 17. Advisory to the Zoning Board of Review for an Application by Anthony Pappas for a Special Use Permit under Section 405 Affordable Housing. The application of the Harbor Church is to construct four, one bedroom year round, rental apartments on the third floor of the church building.

ZONING MODIFICATION REQUEST
Michael and Nancy Sargent. Assessors Plat 20, Lot 8-3. Application for a Zoning Modification to construct a new fourteen (14’) foot by twenty-one (21’) foot single story Accessory Structure to be used as a garage/storage building. The proposed building will be located forty-two (42’) feet from the front property line and forty-four (44’) feet from the eastern property line of lot 8-3. A fifty (50’) foot setback is required from all property lines in the Residential A (RA) Zoning District. If no written objections are received from directly abutting property owners by 8 January 2018 the Zoning Modification will be granted.
