NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of New Shoreham Zoning Board of Review will be in session at the Town Hall, Old Town Road on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 5:30 PM for a regular meeting.
All persons interested will be heard for or against the granting of the following Applications/appeals under the Zoning Ordinances:
• Rosman, Lowell and Jane. Plat 5, Lot 35. Application by John Spier for a Variance from Sections 113(C) and 309(C) to convert an existing structure into a single family dwelling and to rebuild an existing accessory structure.
ZONING MODIFICATION REQUEST
Matthew Gaffney. Assessors Plat 16, Lot 51. Application for a Zoning Modification to construct a seven (7) foot by four foot six inch (4’6”) entry stairway to access the rear door of a home under construction. The stairway will be located forty-four (44’) feet from the rear property line of Lot 51. A fifty (50’) foot setback is required from all property lines in the Residential A (RA) Zoning District. If no written objections are received from directly abutting property owners by 16 January 2018 the Zoning Modification will be granted.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of New Shoreham Planning Board will be in session at the Town Hall on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. for a special meeting. All persons interested will be heard for or against the granting of the following application:
• Block Island Power Company, Inc. Plat 17, Lot 37. PUBLIC HEARING for an Application for Development Plan Review for an Application for a Special Use Permit under Sections 113 (B)(4), 401, 416 and 417 for the removal of five underground storage tanks and the construction of two concrete pads and the replacement of the five underground storage tanks with two 12,000 gallon above ground diesel storage tanks.
