Obituary: Kenneth J. Gosselin
Kenneth J. Gosselin, 64, of Westerly, formerly of Block Island and Grafton, Mass., passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, Aug. 6, surrounded by his family.
Ken was a builder and developer in Worcester County for 40 years. He graduated from Grafton High School in 1964 and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force, both in the U.S. and Vietnam, for four years. Upon leaving the military, Ken was active in the American Legion and VFW.
Ken lived at his Block Island home on Beach Avenue for many years and enjoyed all the island has to offer. He was an avid boater and enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He got his private pilot’s license while stationed in Minot, N.D., and was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
He leaves his daughter, Tracy K. Gosselin of Durham, N.C., and son, Jamison J. Gosselin of Alexandria, Va.; brothers Richard O. Gosselin and his wife Judith of North Grafton, Stephen P. Gosselin and his wife Deborah of North Grafton, and John W. Gosselin and his wife Eileen of Northbridge, Mass.; long-term companion Terry Johnson of Westerly; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral mass was to be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 11, at St. James Church in South Grafton, Mass., and he was then to be laid to rest with Military Honors at Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton.
