Quarters Against Corona

You may be seeing these bright blue coin collecting boxes in almost every business in town. It’s the Quarters Against Corona fundraiser that’s being spearheaded by Karen Duale and benefiting the Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Medical Center.

So far, donations have topped $1,600, but each organization could always use more. It doesn’t have to be just coins, said Duale, checks (made out to the Medical Center with Quarters Against Corona noted in the check memo line) and folding money are also accepted. Volunteers Amy Jaffe, Eliot Neremburg, Victoria Ferrigno, Noah Gasner, Pat and Tom Doyle, and Susan Bush collect the cash each week.

The boxes will be around until Columbus Day. Please contribute what you can.
