Chef tasting and wine dinner

Atlantic Inn executive chef Denny Gomes is ending the 2019 season with a Chef’s Tasting and Wine Pairing event on Friday, Oct. 11 beginning at 6 p.m.

Chef Gomes will be featuring a multi-course menu, starting with a soup course, pumpkin bisque, a warm squash salad, followed by a choice of two entrees: grilled boar ribs, cut St. Louis-style, with an espresso barbecue sauce , and served with a warm tarrow root salad, and sweet potato chips. The second entrée is a pita-encrusted halibut with a rutabaga au gratin, braised lobster mushrooms and pumpkin jus.

The meal will be topped off with a chili-infused chocolate cake.

“Everything is made from scratch,” said Gomes, “and cooked to order.”
