The Great Backyard Bird Count
This weekend is the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC), and time to fill up those bird feeders. If you are interested in knowing more about this world-wide event (promoted by National Audubon Society and Cornell Lab of Ornithology), go to http://gbbc.birdcount.org/about/. Bible Study Group At Harbor Church
The study group will be held for five Saturdays through March 2, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the church parlor. In this video-based, small group Bible study, participants will explore what kind of news is good to a culture that thinks it has rejected the Christian version. Please let Pastor Peter Preiser know if you are interested in attending so that he can have enough study guides available. You don’t have to attend every session to participate. A Performance By The Fire
Come join us by the fireplace on Saturday, Feb. 16 for an evening performance of the “Iliad” at the Island Free Library with Rhode Island actor Matthew Fraza. Soup will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the performance is at 7 p.m.
Ecumenical Choir Practice
Ecumenical Choir practice for the Easter Concert will be held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Harbor Church between now and Easter, which is Sunday, April 21.

Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild Scholarship
The Block Island Arts and Crafts Guild is accepting applications for the annual art scholarship awards. Graduating high school seniors may be eligible. The applications with portfolio should be submitted by May 3, 2019 to either Teri McCombe (401-742-5501) or art teacher Lisa Robb (401) 466-5600). Scholarship criteria and applications are available in the Block Island School guidance office.
Helping Hands Food Pantry
