Taste of the Bay
A celebration of the flavors, sights, and sounds of Narragansett Bay. Gaspee Days Parade
The annual parade commemorates the Rhode Island colonists who burned the British schooner HMS Gaspee, in the first overt act leading to the American Revolutionary War! The parade features colonial fife and drum corps, Civil War era units, modern day drum and bugle corps, and much more! This is a free event.
