Colman William Transue
Big brothers Jameson and Mac, along with their parents Bain and Kay, are happy to announce the arrival of baby Colman William Transue. Born 14 weeks early on Sept. 11, 2019, weighing two pounds, six ounces, and measuring 14 inches long. After an 85-day stay at Women and Infants Hospital, the Transue family is happy to be home on Block Island with baby Cole. All are healthy and happy. Thank you to the amazing Block Island community for the love, support and all the prayers! A special thank you to the members of the Block Island Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad for their quick, life-saving actions. When people say “it takes a village,” it really does and we, as a family, are so very appreciative.
Amelia Errol Lacoste
Parker, Rachel, and big sister Eloise Lacoste of Manhattan, N.Y., are delighted to announce the arrival of their daughter and sister, Amelia Errol Lacoste, born on Sept. 6, 2019, weighing five pounds, three ounces. Amelia is the granddaughter of Ken and Marlee Lacoste of High Street, Block Island, and Ray and Maude Chasse of Spring Street, Block Island. She is the great-granddaughter of Phyllis and Jean Lacoste of South Hadley, Mass., and Edith Sherman of New Milford, Conn. Amelia is looking forward to many summers on Block Island with family and friends.
Aurora Greenlee Martin
Rob and Hanna Martin are thrilled to announce the arrival of their daughter Aurora Greenlee Martin, born Monday, Sept. 30 at 12:15 p.m., weighing six pounds, 10 ounces, and measuring 18.5 inches long. Aurora is the granddaughter of Robert and Susan Greenlee of Block Island, and Robert and Susan Martin of Richfield Springs, N.Y. This little Hurricane has already enjoyed numerous island events and looks forward to being a part of this amazing community.
